Marin Karabaić

Dr. Marin Karabaić, DMD, MSc in Oral Surgery and Implantology, has devoted his career to advancing dental medicine, with a particular focus on reconstructive surgery and regenerative implant techniques.

After earning his dental degree in 2011, Dr. Karabaić pursued further education on an international level. In 2013, he enrolled at the RVTH International Academy at the University of Aachen, where he obtained a Mastership Status in Laser Therapy in Dentistry, deepening his expertise in laser applications for dental procedures. His passion for oral surgery led him to begin a Master’s program in Oral Surgery and Implantology at Danube Private University in Krems, Austria, in 2016, which he completed in 2019, earning the Master of Science in Oral Surgery and Implantology degree

His pursuit of excellence didn’t stop there. In 2018, he was a guest at the prestigious BTI Biotechnology Institute in Vitoria, Spain, where he studied Minimally Invasive Implantology under Prof. Eduardo Anitua. In 2019, he continued his training in Bone Reconstruction in Oral Implantology with Prof. José Luis Mompell in Madrid.

Understanding the importance of regenerative techniques in implantology, in 2020, he enrolled in the Advanced Surgical Master Curriculum in Regenerative Implant Dentistry at the University of Szeged, under the mentorship of Prof. Istvan Urban, where he adopted the latest approaches in bone regeneration. In 2022, he further honed his skills by attending an Advanced Course in Ridge Augmentation with Lucca de Stavola, as well as the Reconstructive Periodontal and Plastic Surgery in the Aesthetic Zone course led by renowned expert Giovanni Zucchelli.

In 2024, Dr. Karabaić expanded his expertise by training under Dr. Darko Slovša in the field of Subperiosteal Implants, a groundbreaking method designed for patients with severe jawbone atrophy, where standard implants are not viable. This technique allows for functional and aesthetic rehabilitation even in the most complex cases, reaffirming his dedication to cutting-edge solutions in implantology.

Throughout his career, Dr. Karabaić has focused on oral surgery and implantology, with a special interest in rebuilding lost bone structures and restoring natural chewing function. His commitment to innovation in dental medicine is recognized internationally, and he currently serves as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for the Dentium implant system and Meisinger surgical instruments. He regularly participates in professional congresses and advanced training, continuously enhancing his knowledge to offer patients the most modern and effective treatment methods.
